Cool air intake, our first attempt. This is a difficult thing to accomplish, as there are many things in the way. First off, the LT1 has an oval throttle body of an odd sise. The rubber elbow at the left adapts us from the Chevy oval to 4" circle. Then that flexible bit adapts it down to 3", which is what is required to fit through the hole in the fender to the right. The 90 degree rubber elbow in the center of the picture is to make the intake clear the headlight arm that rotates through that area.

Intake snakes its way arround and through all kinds of doo-dads on it's way to it's filter. This is underneath the car, inside the front bumper and in front of the wheel.

Notice the old air intake. Works, but isn't as efficient as it could be.
